The 3rd, master project 2020 - 2022

The 3rd is a blanket communicating the importance of individuality and diverse representation in design. Through the blanket, urban subculture, West-African and Nordic aesthetics are fused together to mirror the

multi-cultural attachment the designer has to her environment.

During the project, Tooti was growing a decolonizing design mindset, by exploring design from different cultures and continents, with a goal of expanding her own sources of knowledge, validation and inspiration as well as encouraging her audience to do the same.
